About Me

Covering a New York Cosmos soccer game in the rain at the NJ Meadowlands in 1977 for the AP on a spec basis.
I love taking pictures. I specially love photographing people, whether it's a portrait, a wedding, or something else. I consider myself a people person. I view photography as an extension of my personality. I love talking to people and hearing what they have to say.
My mom bought me my first Nikon camera when I was 15. I still have and use that camera today. I am an award-winning photographer and photojournalist. I had my first photo published by a major newspaper when I was just fifteen. I had my first photos published by The New York Daily News when I was 16, and by the time that I was 17, I was receiving photo assignments and having work published by The New York Times and the Associated Press.
I have shot news, fashion, weddings, portraits, sports, industrial and event photography. My fashion work has been published in small, independent magazines. Some of my news photos have been published around the world. I began my professional photography career when I was in my late teens. However, life took me in a different career path and my professional photography career took a back seat while I pursued a successful career in advertising. In 1994 founded my own advertising agency, The Media Buying Company. I love advertising and helping brands grow. While I spend most of my days working at my ad agency, I am fortunate that I'm still able to pursue photography.
